Exploring bugs with Google AR
P1 are learning about bugs. We looked at a range of bugs and insects using Google AR. The children loved zooming in and out and exploring them in 360 degrees.
The children then used a paint program on the iPads to create our their bugs. We also explored a number of paint programs on the computer to improve their mouse control.

The Top Marks website is excellent for games and activities for young children to learn mouse control skills, as well as improve their maths

P1's IPC unit is Aliens! They used the PhotoBooth on the iPads to create alien pictures. They then imported them onto ChatterPix and gave some information about their alien planet.

To introduce the children in P1 to Digital Education, they have been using a wide range of apps from Toca Boca. They have been hairdressers, monster feeders and train drivers so far.
