Year 8 

After the unit of Game Design on Google CS First, Year 8 children were challenged to create their own games. They could base it on one they had already created or played, or they could start from scratch! Children could add in a points system, a timer or any features to make the game more challenging. 

Once complete, the Year 4 children came and reviewed their games using a Google Form. This feedback was then shared with the game designers.

Year 8 used Microbits to code a range of programs to complete different tasks. They especially enjoyed making an accelerometer to slow the speed of a fall.
